I was doing some reading and found an interesting piece of history & wanted to share yet another similarity between the way Obama “wants” to bring about “Change” and some of the world’s ruthless dictators of the past.  Staying on the “hot topic” of Health Care Reform… Many of us are wondering, “Where are the specifics?”  Has anyone noticed that Obama, even in the staged town hall meetings, will never get into specifics of “What Will Be Covered”, “Under What Circumstances”, and “What/Where’s the cut-off?”, etc.?

Apparently we’re all supposed to trust him… worry about the details later… We’re supposed to let President Obama, our Senators, our Congressmen, and even Robert Gibbs respond with the type of vagueness you might expect if you were reading book report written by a 9th grader who hasn’t actually read the book.

Mr. President, you’re not Mussolini & Americans don’t “just trust” government to do anything.  We’re not a fascist people and we most certainly know betterthan to “just trust” anybody in government.  Stop with the vague answers.  Stop telling the American people, who are reading from the actual H.R. 3200 Bill, that everything they’re aconcerned about “Isn’t true”. 

They’re only reading & trying to interpret the Bill and good grief, Mr. President, if the average American can interpret this Bill in ways that seem “absurd” or “evil”, then why is it so hard for you or members of Congress to see how easy it might be for totalitarian government officials and/or bureacrats to interpret it that way as well, when the rubber hits the road?

If none of the facts written into the Bill that are worrying the American people are true… then let’s talk about:

 #1. What is true?  #2. Explain how ‘We can keep our insurance if we like it’ and specifically “How the procedure works if we switch jobs and STILL don’t want the public option”.  #3 Explain what treatments are covered, specifically.  #4 Explain under what circumstances those treatments are covered.  #5  Explain specifically what or when the government will “cut people off” and “why”.  #6.  If the government plan will not cover treatment or procedures… what options will patients have, SPECIFICALLY.  #7  SPECIFICALLY, where are you getting the money to pay for this?  #8 Why are you focusing on Health Care when the economy is in shambles?  #9  Why aren’t we talking about ways to reform Health Care by way of the private sector?  #10  Why are we even considering a centralized government take over or government option of healthcare?  # 11 Since nothing in the House or Senate Bill is true… (as you say) then let’s get a Bill with the truth, with specifics about exactly what would be covered, what wouldn’t be covered, how, when, where, and why.

Instead of being vague about details, why don’t you go out on a limb and just flat out tell us EXACTLY what will be covered, EXACTLY what won’t, EXACTLY what circumstances…  Let’s get specific.  Until you decide to do that Mr. President, nobody can trust you.
