Media Malpractice or State Run Media…Which Is It?

0

How can a President of the United States contradict himself in almost every speech,  often in the same sentence, and receive no curiousity, question, or even so much as a “clarification request” whatsoever from the press?  The Answer:  There is No Press in the United States.   There is only “The State Run Media”.

Let’s take one of the Mr. Obama’s latest quotes:

“To the non-Democrats who may be watching today.  I want you to know I believe in a strong and loyal oppositionI believe in a two-party system where ideas are tested and assumptions are challengedCuz’ that’s how we move this country forwardBut what I reject is when some folks decide to sit on the sidelines and root for failure on health care or on energy or on our economy.  What I reject is that when some folks say we should go back to the past policies when it was those very same policies that got us into this mess in the first place.”  – Barack Obama, October 16th 2009 – DNC Fundraiser in San Francisco

I’m a “non-Democrat”, therefore I’m exceptionally qualified to comment on this & call attention to the completely obvious contradiction that apparently highly trained journalists, who went to “jounalist college” aren’t able to to spot.

He’s a believer in “strong & loyal opposition” AND He’s a believer in a “system where ideas are tested and assumptions are challenged” because these more the country forward.  BUT He rejects “folks” “on the sidelines… who root for failure on health care or on energy or on our economy”.

Dear State Run Media, this is called a Contradictory Statement:

  1. He purports to support or “believe” in a system of “strong & loyal opposition… where ideas are tested and assumptions are challenged”; AND at the same time
  2. He Rejects those “folks” [the "opposition"] who root for failure on [Obama's ideological proposals to reform] health care, energy, and the economy.
  • He cannot have it both ways.

He also rejects the “folks [who] say we should go back the past policies… that got us into this mess in the first place”.  Dear State Run Media your job in this situation is called:  Ask Questions

  1. “Who EXACTLY are these ‘folks on the sidelines’?” [names, examples, who?]
  2. “Tell Mr. President, SPECIFICALLY, which past policies are you referring to that got us into this mess and how so?”  [details, names of Bills, names of legislators who sponsored the Bills, names of legislators who voted for those Bills,etc.]
  3. “How did YOU vote, as Senator, for each & every one of those policies that got us into this mess in the first place’?”
  4. Then pick up the phone and start calling those SPECIFICALLY named “folks” and ask him or her: “Do you think and/or ’say we should go back the past policies [SPECIFICS, BILL NUMBERS, ETC]… that got us into this mess in the first place’?”

Four questions & a few phone calls too much to ask for?  Look… this is not just one isolated incident.  He does this all of time.

Another same speech contradiction by Obama:

 “It starts off with the basic idea that we’re all in this together.  What we’re going to do is we’re going to be pragmatic instead of ideological. We are going to try to bring people together rather than push them apart. (Applause.) We are going to make sure that we listen to other people’s ideas.

“But I don’t want the folks who created the mess – I don’t want the folks who created the mess do a lot of talking.  I want them to just get out of the way so we can clean up the mess.  I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.”  – Barack Obama in Virginia August 6th, 2009

Why won’t the people who were trained to do the job, investigate the meaning behind Obama’s mixed messages?  Better yet, why do we have a President who would such ridiculous illogical contradictions in the first place?  Is anybody qualified for their job title anymore?!?!!

Since we don’t have journalists (other than a select few at Fox News + Jake Tapper) who are willing to leave the Obama Show and to start getting the answers, asking the questions for clairification on the President’s statements, agenda, policies, and logic… All I can say is thank God for the Internet, Fox News, & Talk Radio – where we can still find truth if we seek it.

My commentary on Obama’s contradictions above:

Essentially, Obama would have all Americans believe that:

  1. Opposing his ideas is equivelent to opposing health care, energy, and the economy.
  2. We’re in this recession because of Conservative & Free Market ideas.
  3. Anyone who opposes Obama’s plans to transform the United States of America is the cause of the current recession and should shut up.

Did you get anything other than this out of what he said?  I mean… Too bad we don’t have journalists willing to clarify the contradictions.

The Truth is:

  1. Opposing Mr. Obama’s Progressive reform ideas IS NOT the same thing as “root[ing] for failure on health care or on energy or on our economy.”
  2. We’re in this “mess” because of Progressivism, fraud, and the reckless Free Market interference by government.
  3. It is incumbent upon all Americans to oppose ANY government attempt:
    • (a) to destroy the United States economy, kill any chance at recovery, and halt all future advancements [Cap & Trade] (Click here to Watch & Learn about Cap & Trade) ;
    • (b) to take control over and authorize entry into every aspect of your life (health, privacy, diet, your children, etc) [Government Health Care] ;
    • (c) to grow government or encourage people and/or States to become increasingly more dependent on the federal government [Economic Stimulus]; and
    • (d) to merge with, politicize, or use police power without just cause to coerce private industry participants; “bail out” any company that is failing because of internal mismanagement & poor business decisions (we do have a bankruptcy system in this country!); interfere in the free market economy; or to pick & choose winners & losers (which companies survive & which ones fail) [Bail Outs]  Just to name a few.
