#1 The American Right & Left:  Big Government vs. Small Government

            Anybody who says “It’s Communists on the Left & Fascists on the Right” is either European, lying, or has fallen for propaganda created by Stalin almost a century ago.  In the United States of America we have Big Government on the Left & we have Small Government on the Right.  You cannot have Fascism, Nazism or Communism with a Small Government, can’t happen, period.  Therefore none of the Statist Dictatorship Regimes responsible for the murder of hundreds of millions of people in the 20^th Century alone could be “Right Wing”, not one of them.  Every last one of the mass-murdering regimes of the 20^th Century was made possible ONLY by a Big Government, therefore every last one of them, according to Politics in the United States of America, was “Left Wing”.

            Here’s how to clear things up.  We have Republicans & Democrats in America, but when you look closely… your choice in 2008 was Big Government with Barack Obama or Big Government with John McCain.  Big Government or Big Government…  Europe has been cursed over & over with a similar choice, Communism versus Fascism… gee, Big Government or Big Government, sound familiar?  Do you see how this works?  Cut the crap!  The “Left” is Big Government & the “Right” is Small Government, period.  It’s that simple, next subject!

#2 Capitalism didn’t cause the financial crisis, government intervention did.

            Housing prices in specific localities were artificially inflated by government land use restrictions.  The Federal Reserve set interest rates to extreme lows.  The Community Reinvestment Act was used to coerce banks to lower lending qualifications; George Bush’s American Dream Down Payment Act made it possible for people to buy who had no money to put down, hence no skin in the game.  Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac weren’t angels either, in fact you might look at these “alleged” private, Government Sponsored Enterprises as enablers of the financial collapse; how you ask?  Here’s a quick lesson:

• Fannie & Freddie buy loans & mortgages from banks & lenders;
• Fannie & Freddie set THEIR OWN CRITERIA for what they will & won’t buy;
• Fannie & Freddie ALSO encouraged lowering borrower standards because THEY SET Requirements for banks to be able to sell mortgages to Fannie & Freddie;
• Banks had to comply with Community Reinvestment Act, American Dream Down Payment Act, Fannie & Freddie lending standards… (JUST TO NAME A FEW!!) and now record numbers of people are buying homes who shouldn’t even qualify for the loans in the first place
• Creative Financing:  Interest only loans, Adjustable rate mortgages…. yep Fannie, Freddie & Wall Street bought these too… Who cares if the buyer can pay it back, FANNIE & FREDDIE WILL BUY THE MORTGAGE & ITS OUT OF OUR HANDS.  Way to manage a business & risk… thanks Big Government.
• Wall Street also bought mortgages from lenders, bundled them up & sold them to investors.

Do I need to continue?  This WAS NOT Capitalism.  THIS WAS GOVERNMENT Planning, trying to make things more “FAIR”…  Local governments in certain areas of the country (mostly on the 2 coasts) made housing unaffordable in those areas with land use restrictions.  Federal Government made the rest of the crisis possible by trying to fix the national “Affordable Housing Problem”, that didn’t exist in most of the country (again only those specific government happy locations), & coercing lenders to make loans to people who NEVER should have been approved for loans.  Bottom Line:  It wasn’t Capitalism that Failed, it was Government trying to enforce “Social Justice” that caused the World Financial Crisis in the first decade of the 21^st Century.  Period.

 #3 The Arizona Bill Is Not Racist.

            Anyone who is still crying that the Bill is racist, CLEARLY hasn’t read it.  I have, it not only EXPRESSLY states that racial profiling is not permitted, but it NEVER encouraged such profiling implicitly to begin with!  It reiterates the Federal Law.  If you think it’s a racist Bill, you’ve been lied to by your media outlets & you’re only embarrassing yourself.  Period.

Ignorance is killing our country, some might even argue it murdered us long ago.  Instead of wasting precious time gazing at American Idol this week… why not read something, you know… a book!  Why not do some research, oh I don’t know… maybe even a little critical thinking & seek the truth instead of regurgitating what they told you on MSNBC, CNN, Fox, ABC, etc?  There are more important things then this year’s winner I promise you.
