I was just snooping around and stumbled upon a Constitutional Amendment proposed by Congressman Serrano to repeal the 22nd Amendment…
I’m sorry, but I don’t care how much “love” one has for President Obama… I think “we” can ALL agree that Presidential term limits… those are a good thing!
Why is Congressman Jose Serrano (D-NY) introducing H.J. Res. 5 (Constitutional Amendment to remove the limit on the number of terms one may serve as President)? This would repeal the 22nd amendment, you know… the Amendment passed when FDR would not go away, yeah… that one!
Anybody want to ask him?

Again, I understand people are obsessed with “The Most Merciful” Obama, but Congressman Serrano should be embarrassed for even suggesting this and the people of the 16th district in New York should do some “thinking” when they see his name on a ballot in 2010… I’m just saying (please!)

This Congressman is nuts. There's a reason they put term limits in the Constitution and that reason was to stop psychos like Barack Obama from becoming a monarch.

I checked out some of the source links. All it did was reinforce what your article already said, but that reinforcement was just enough to give me chills and make my stomach turn. Sure! It will probably never even come close to happening (at least I will keep telling myself that), but just the idea that it was legitimately proposed is scary on its own. Even if I thought the president was doing a great job, there is no question there has to be a limit.
